The idea

The world doesn't need another hotel. It needs places that bring us together.

YAH is conceived as a place for people from different worlds to meet: entrepreneurs and artists, teachers and students, families and friends, thinkers and makers.

Set in forty hectares of inland Alentejo, it combines hospitality, private residences, retreats, masterclasses, wellbeing, food and community in one quiet place.

YAH grew out of a circle of travellers and creators who have journeyed together for years: retreats in Morocco, weeks in Tuscany, festivals, gatherings with their children. The destinations changed, the essence stayed the same: depth, beauty and authentic living, here and now. The estate in the Alentejo gives that circle a home.

The name

YAH is a “yes”.

Our mission is to help you not just learn something new, but to make it part of everyday life. So that in the moment when life calls you, you can sincerely answer: “yes”.

Nature, people and purpose. Land that has not been spoiled. People from different worlds at one table. And at the centre of the estate, a place for awareness and consciousness, kept for nothing but being here.

Where the project stands.

YAH is in development. The land is owned outright. JDSA completed the masterplan in 2021. The municipal approval order was issued in January 2024 and is valid until 2028. The project is now in detailed planning and financing. Construction is planned to start in 2027, with opening in 2029.

Registered guests, buyers and investors hear first when dates are confirmed.
